You can go back through the medical expenses section and delete those premiums if you previously entered them. Search for medical expenses and then use the Jump to medical expenses link to go back through the entries.
If the insurance expense was entered through a W-2 or 1099-R, TurboTax won't put those amounts on Schedule A unless they are deductible. And sometimes there is a state deduction available when there is no federal deduction available. To verify the medical expenses that TurboTax is using on your Schedule A, view the Medical Expenses Worksheet. You can do this using Forms Mode (click on Forms in the upper right corner) if using the desktop software. If using the Online software, you can save a full copy (that includes all worksheets) to view the details of Schedule A.
