So I claimed both the EIC and the other credit, I forget the name. I looked on wheres my refund today 2/16/2017 and the status changed from the notice about the law to saying it's processing.
I called the 1-800 number for individuals ending in 1040. I only waited about 4 minutes max before I spoke to a nice women.
I told her it's been over 21 days since I filed and she said it was normal because I claimed those tax credits. She did say that their where's my refund tool was down and not functioning properly.
She said give her five minutes and she would check to see was going on with my return. She stated that my refund was being released. I should receive it on the 22nd. Hopefully I get it before then.
I filed with jackson hewitt and am getting it on a card not in my account.
I'll let you guys know if it comes on that day or sooner.
