My wife and I are forced to have separate health plans, so she has my daughter on her family HSA, and I have a self-only HSA. However, there doesn't seem to be a clear way to indicate this in Turbo Tax's interface. So Turbo Tax is filling out Form 8889 incorrectly, marking each HSA as family plans. I don't think it impacts our returns in any other way, but I'd like it to be accurate if I'm going to put my signature on it. Please help!
