Sounds like you received a request like this "If your Letter 12C indicates that Form 8962, Premium Tax Credit was missing and not attached to your return, you will need to send the completed Form 8962 to the IRS. You do NOT need to amend your return, so there is no need to submit Form 1040-X, Amended Return."

 

If so, this means that IRS needs the form 8962 to verify the information on the Form 1095A.  If you mailed that in to IRS as requested, most likely that resolved your issue.

 

Remember, IRS shut down March 2020 just like everyone else.  Some of those documents, because they were paper, may not have been processed yet.  The only thing you can do is wait.
