I had this issue last year with the online version.  I made multiple calls to support and finally connected with someone who understood that it was a software issue.  Twice I was transferred to a tax consultant which is fee based but I declined.  I didn’t need tax advice.  I don’t recall the details but essentially the Yes/No response could not be edited using the normal interface.  The tech support person was able to walk me through editing a background worksheet.  I cannot believe this has not been fixed.  You may need to call Tech Support but you need to be firm that it is a software issue with the online version.
