While I agree with Mike9241, you should also be aware that in order to take a deduction for such expenses, you will not only need to itemize your deductions (as opposed to taking the Standard Deduction), you can only deduct medical expenses that exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) in 2020. So if your AGI was $50,000, then you can claim the deduction for the amount of medical expenses that exceed $3,750.
