You should receive a 1098 from your mortgage lender. It will have the correct lender name listed. Just add the correct name when prompted in TurboTax on your current filing.
I you do not receive a 1098 from your lender I would contact them as ask that it be provided.
This should not be an issue for past returns if you added the correct lender name from the 1098 in previous years.
Form 1098, Mortgage Interest Statement, is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) form that's used to report the amount of interest and related expenses paid on a mortgage during the tax year by an individual or a sole proprietor when the amount totals $600 or more.
