You're mixing up the federal and state tax returns. Somehow your $960 federal refund got onto your state amended return. It doesn't belong there. That's why your Illinois amended return is wrong.
I don't have the Illinois software to be able to see how you might have entered that in the state amended return. I'm just looking at the Illinois forms. You have to find where you entered that $960 in the Illinois amended return and get it out of there. Then your amended return should be correct. You might have misunderstood something when it asked you about the refund from your original return. You do not enter your federal refund in the state amended return. Federal and state are separate.
