An accountant recommended buying Virginia land preservation tax credits as a way to both support land preservation as well as lower state tax burden. He also was making a play to do my taxes but I'd prefer to do them myself. Do you know if TurboTax deluxe allows me to easily add this credit? I would like to proceed with the tax credits but do not want to make my taxes more complex than the deluxe version will allow or have to manually enter on forms (I saw a previous discussion where you had to enter it directly on the form than through the standard turbo tax platform).
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
