I put in an amount that we paid with our Federal 2019 extension ($45,115.00) but that amount doesn't reflect in the amount of taxes paid on the tax return. My husband paid in $72,181.00 with his W-9 wages. This should have brought the total Federal 2019 taxes paid in to $117,296.00. But it only shows federal taxes paid in of $74,029.00, thus making a federal tax due of $34,386.00. Why?? I already filed the return and mailed the check.
