For example, what version of TurboTax are you using; if Download/CD, are you completing the amendment in the Step-by-Step questions or Forms mode; did you follow the instructions to not make changes until TurboTax had "frozen" you originally filed amounts; on the amended Form 1040 what amount are you showing on line 22 for applied to next year; on the original 1040 you filed how much was refunded (after applying the $20,264 to 2020); and what is the amount on line 23 of Form 1040X?
If you didn't pay any additional amounts in income taxes (including via the K-1), the line 16 of the 1040X should be "zero".
