Are you asking about box 12 on the W-2 or line 12 on the 8889 in the Review (you seem to have asked about both)?
"I tried putting what I had from box 12 (w), but it would not accept it." - what does "but it would not accept it." mean? Did it give you an error message? If so, was it in the HSA interview or during the Review? What was the exact message?
