Yes, you can enter the amount of taxes that your paid for your vehicles if the amount assessed was based on the items value. It only matters when you paid it (2016).
Vehicle registration fees are entered in the Cars
and Other Things You Own section. To navigate to the section:
- In your open return, select My Account
- Tools
- Topic Search
- Type 'car registration fees' in
the box, then select GO
The personal property section covers items
such as boats, RV, and airplanes.
