Send them at the same time, it won't make a difference to wait. the sooner the better! I'd send them together (or separate) in a Manila envelope and get tracking with the post office. I'd even consider paying for a signature upon delivery because ours got lost in the mail the first time! So we paid the 2nd time to track with signature.
