Stimulus checks will be based on information from your most recent tax filings, either 2019 or 2018 if you have not yet filed this season.
- Up to $1,200 for individuals,
- $2,400 for joint taxpayers, and
- An additional $500 for each qualifying child.
Under the 2020 CARES Act, you will not receive a $500 payment for the child born in March of 2020. However, the situation is very fluid. Follow the news should there be a change in the law.
