Green Dot Bank and Covoid 19 Stimulus
In 2018 completed my tax return through turbo tax and opted to get my refund via Green dot bank. This is a service provider through turbo tax.
I received a prepaid debit card in 2019 with the refund. Today, I called Green Dot and they have no record of my account. Do I need to call the IRS? Is there any hope I can update my bank account information or can I receive another prepaid debit through Green Dot? Green Dot does not have a customer service dept available. I'll be fine waiting until I receive my check in the mail, but I can only assume there are customers out there who will be adversely impacted by this and the lack of guidance is frustrating.
Turbo Tax and Greet Dot have really dropped the ball here in my opinion! This is going to cause a lot of confusion and headache for customers and the IRS themselves.
