follow up from earlier post....the employer contribution (theirs plus your payroll contributions) should be stated in box 12 on your W2. When you enter that box 12 value into TurboTax, TurboTax should generate a form 8889. That value will not be deductible, but will count towards your annual maximum ($7000 + $1000 if over 55)
