So I am a college student, 21 years old, I do not live with my parent for more than half the year, she does not pay my bill and I make around 10 K a year is she able to claim me as a dependent I learned that she has been claiming me and that has been making me owe the state money every year. what happens if I amend this years return but she has already claimed me? What does that do to her and how will it affect me?
