There are two places to enter property tax. There is a box on the Form 1098 for property tax and there is a section to enter just the property tax.
To go to the Property tax entry:
While signed in and working in TurboTax Online,
- Click on Federal in the black left-hand menu.
- Click on Deductions and Credits
- Scroll down and click on Show More under Your Home.
- Choose Start or Revisit under Property (Real Estate) Taxes.
To go to the Form 1098, Mortgage Interest, section:
While signed in and working in TurboTax Online,
- Click on Federal in the black left-hand menu.
- Click on Deductions and Credits
- Scroll down and click on Show More under Your Home.
- Choose Start or Revisit under Mortgage Interest and Refinancing.
