You may need to add this subtraction in manually as you prepare your Wisconsin return. 

  1. When you begin your Wisconsin return, there will be a screen that says "Here is the income Wisconsin Handles Differently"
  2. then go to medical>medical care insurance
  3. here you can enter the premium paid as a self-employed person, employed person, or unemployed person. If you are retired, enter this as an unemployed person.
