You enter Home Office expenses for a W-2 employee as an Unreimbursed Employee Business Expense.

  • Start with Federal Taxes
  • Deductions and Credits >> Scroll Down to "Employment Expenses, Job Expenses" >> Select "Start"
  • Employment Expenses Related to a W-2 >> Select "Yes" >> Continue
  • Follow through the prompts
  • When you get to "Did you have home office expenses?" >> Select "Yes"
  • Follow through the prompts
