You have to complete the HSA interview (mainly to confirm that you have a HDHP) so that the contribution can be properly categorized.
To access the HSA section of TurboTax, please follow these steps:
- Open your return and click on Search on the top of your screen.
- In the Search box, type hsa and click on the magnifying glass icon on the right
- Click on the link Jump to hsa
- TurboTax will take you to a section where you can follow the interview on your HSA.
