The "Dependent care benefits" box is blank on her W2.
She NEVER got $5,000 of dependent care benefits from an employer.
On her W2 box 14 shows,
NY-VPDI $16.21 (does have description in list)
NYPFLVP $13.11 (no description but I know it means ' NY paid family leave program')
There is nothing shown in boxes 12a 12b 12c 12d
The Free File added $5000 to her meager yearly income. The review shows her employer paid her $5000 for dependent care but BOX 10 shows nothing was paid.
HOW can I fix the addition of that $5000 income she never got and employer doesn't offer anyhow?
