If you have not filed, in TurboTax online, you can return to the Foreign assets/accounts section to edit the information. Here are the steps:

Sign in to your TurboTax account and select Pick up where you left off
At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in "8938" and Enter
Select Jump to 8938
Follow prompts
On the screen, "Do You Have a Foreign Financial Account to Report?", select "Yes" and Continue
Follow prompts. On-screen, "More Info About Your First Foreign Financial Account", uncheck the joint account selection. See the image below:

( If you have already filed, you might need to amend only if editing the information would change your total refund.)
