Are you looking to report the premiums paid to a health insurance provider that participates in the Affordable Care Act? If so, you will receive a Form 1095-A in the mail that documents this information. When you receive this form, follow the below instructions to enter it in TurboTax Online:
- Click on the Federal and then the Health Insurance tab at the top.
- Answer the questions about your health coverage.
- Select Yes, "Was anyone enrolled in any of these less common plans in 2019?" to enter your 1095-A form.
- On the That’s all we need on your 2019 coverage screen, click Done with Health.
