Yes, if you have foreign self-employment income then you will have to enter it in the business section (Schedule C) and in the Foreign Income section of TurboTax.

 

To enter the self-employment income:

  1. Login to your TurboTax Account 
  2. Click "Work on other tax breaks"
  3. Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
  4. Scroll down to “Self-Employment” and click "Show more" 
  5. Click “Start” next to “Self-employment income and expenses
  6. TurboTax will walk you through the questions.

 

To enter the information in the foreign section:

  1. Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
  2. Scroll down to “Less Common Income” and click "Show more" 
  3. Scroll down to “Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion” and click “Start
  4. Choose “A Form 1099-MISC or other self-employment income” and click “Continue”.
  5. TurboTax will walk you through the questions.
