Does anyone know how to apply for the electric vehicle charging station credit that was extended at the end of 2019, form 8911 doesn't seem to be available/updated?

You can't claim it until the IRS fully updates their forms, and approves the software implementation of them.
On one page, TTX indicated they expected to update some of their energy credit forms by 1/29/2020....Don't know if that will include the Charging stations at the same time or not...could be a week late...check back ~1 Feb to see if it's been added in for you...if not, wait another week or two.

Ugh now both the 8910 and 8911 won't be available until 2/20/2019 any ideas why it takes so long?
