I'm very sorry if this is a dumb question. I purchased a home in 2019, paying a percentage down, and all closing costs (not including inspection and appraisal payments). I'm completely new to home ownership...should I get some sort of refund back? My title company told me that I should expect a refund, but again -- I am not sure about this? Also, what forms do I use when figuring in mortgage? I will most likely have to use a tax professional this year...this is terrifying! LOL
