2017 or 2018? the tax laws didn't change until the 2018 return. we can't see your return nor the actual data, so we can't say why your refund dropped. if it really is 2017, why not compare the returns for 2017 to 2016 line by line. you can thus see what changed. and if something appears unreasonable, you can post back as to what it is
