Deductions & credits

If the nonprofit organization is a "qualified charitable organization" such as a 501(c)(3) or a church or public educational facility, etc., then Yes you can include what you gift back to them as a charitable contribution.  But remember, charitable contributions are just one of several itemized deductions.  The total of your itemized deductions must be greater than your standard deduction to be of any tax benefit.
