I file married filing separately for student loan repayment purposes. I’m trying to determine who should claim and use the childcare FSA based on our incomes. I’ll make around 42k next year and my spouse will make 100k plus. I know traditionally the person making the most money should claim the child but I’m teetering near a lower tax bracket with enough deductions so I’m not entirely sure in this case.
