Re: Bought a solar system that was installed in May 2019. I need to sell my house before the end of 2019 due to a move. Do I get the solar tax credit or does the buyer?

Only YOU get the credit since YOU were the first owner EVEN if the new owner will take over any payments on the solar panels when you sell.
