It depends. You will need to go back through your state return and remove the entry made regarding the homestead credit. In fact, I suggest removing the state return and then reenter. if in Turbo Tax online.
- Log into Turbo Tax
- Select state on the left hand side.
- When you get to the section that shows the state, delete it with the trash icon.
- Reenter the state again and the information will flow to your Turbo Tax return.
- Do not enter information regarding the homestead Credit again.
