thanks for your help. still have all of my federal income on both MN and WI returns as income. what I did was entered all of my 1099s in the federal form and completed it then turbo had me do the MN tax form and then do the WI 1NPR form for WI. as I said it listed all of the IRA and Pension distributions as WI income which generated a large tax bill. I'm not sure how to correct this problem. any help is welcome. thanks bob
