It depends. Form 1NPR is the Wisconsin non-resident form that is generated when you indicate in the Wisconsin interview that you weren't a resident in 2020.
- Open or log into Turbo Tax
- Select state in the left panel of your program if using the Online version. If you are using the software, select the state taxes tab at the top of the page. in both cases, pick Wisconsin.
- The first question will ask if Wisconsin was your state of residence all year? Say no and then complete the rest of the interview. This will generate Form 1NPR.
- Complete your Wisconsin non-resident return before completing your resident state return.
