I received had received a joining bonus while joining First Tech Credit Union as part of a promotion. I recently received an 1099-INT (Interest Income) from First Tech Federal Credit Union.
Is the joining bonus taxable in Tennessee ? I have read that interests or dividends from credit unions are nontaxable.
