Moved Permanently from NJ to WA in july 2020. Continue working for the same company located in NJ. Do i need to do both part resident and non resident for nj state tax?
Hello all,
I recently permanently move from NJ to WA in July 2020. However I continued working for the same employer located in NJ from July to December. Do I need to file 2 forms under NJ? 1040 and 1040NR. This is what suggested from TurboTax. What about next year? I still work for the same company in NJ but I am not domicile in NJ.. so I still need to file a NJ1040NR?
