wi tax payed by mistake
I payed about 3 or 4 months of WI state tax by mistake. we moved from WI to MN full time in 2019. I thought I had changed my withholding all to MN but missed my pension. So I got a 1099R for WI and turbo tax had me fill a WI return witch shows that I would owe about 3k in taxes. We are both retired have SS and pensions and IRA income only. Is there some way to get that tax money back without filing a WI return?
