State tax filing
Are you a SC resident? According to the Individual Income Tax- FAQ - SC Department of Revenue:
If you are a South Carolina resident, you are generally required to file a South Carolina Income Tax return if you are required to file a federal return. If you are a nonresident or part-year resident, you are generally required to file a South Carolina return if you work in South Carolina or are receiving income from rental property, businesses, or other investments in South Carolina.
Individual Income Tax returns are due April 15 of each year. However, if you file and pay electronically, you have until May 1 to submit your return and full payment without penalties or interest. The May 1 deadline does not apply to Federal Income Tax returns or to taxpayers filing paper returns.
