This is still remains an issue. It has to do with the functioning of TurboTax not the NY State Tax department. I, and others, are unable to efile tax returns using Turbo Tax because of this functional error. As @CK240 states, we are unable to file even without distributing the income across the the three years. Something is wrong in the TurboTax software and needs to be corrected. I am waiting a couple more weeks for a resolution until I go elsewhere to file and request a refund from TurboTax. I have been a customer for years but this issue, if unresolved, will result in the loss of my business. Very frustrating that there is no helpful response from Intuit / TurboTax.
