And another thing. Each year the Turbotax CD software keeps dropping Mac operating systems that the CD will support. In other words, last year I was forced to upgrade to High Sierra. For the 2020 tax year, Turbotax dropped High Sierra off their supported operating systems and I was forced to upgrade my computer to Catalina. On the other hand, H&R Block software CD continues to support older Apple Mac operating systems. This is yet another reason I may just start buying H&R Block CD software in the future.

TurboTax complies the Mac software with the Apple supplied developers toolkit and *Apple* only supports OSX 10.14 and later.     Next year Apple will drop 10.14.

Because TurboTax has decided to only have (and maintain updates) for the 3 active Mac products, they will not supply separate products using out of date developer software for older Mac's.    Not economically viable.

(I have the same problem - I run 10.14 and do not want to update to 10.15 since that breaks apps that I use, but I understand the reasons.)
