The Iceman suggested that I send an email to the Intuit Executive staff, which I did yesterday. I sent it directly to the CEO Sasan Goodarzi, advising him that I had an issue with my state return, in fact, that there were a lot of people from all over the US that had the same issue. He responded back to me and advised me that a specialist would be contacting me. I got a call, but missed it. At about 5:16 last night I got an Email from TurboTax that my state return had been accepted. Coincidence? Maybe, but I suspect that maybe they took a look at it and resolved whatever issue was holding it up.

You might try doing the same or just give it a couple of more days. NMTAP said that they weren't processing returns immediately, only a few to ensure that their systems were operating properly. Once completed, they were going to run all Efiled returns that they had already received. I still don't know where the issue was, but mine's been taken care of!
