To enter the information for
the solar tax credit in TurboTax, please follow these steps:
- Click on Federal > Deductions
& Credits.
- In the Your Home section,
click on the Start/Revisit box next to Home Energy Credits.
- On the Energy-Saving Home
Improvements screen, click Yes and then Continue.
- Continue through the screens until
you reach Enter Any
Additional Energy-Efficient Improvements.
- Enter the amounts you paid on this screen and click Continue.
- TurboTax will then calculate any
credit.
