State tax filing
Thanks for your help but there is a Fidelity sheet titled: Tax Year 2020: Important Information for Ohio Residents. It goes on to say: "If during 2020, you were subject to tax in Ohio and held share of the fund(s) listed below, you may have received federally taxable distributions that are exempt from Ohio state Income tax." I have verified that I got the distributions and Fidelity has called the type of distribution "Capital Gain." This is why I am confused? Can you clarify? Thanks,
