If your 2019 state refunds applied to 2020 are not correct, you can edit them in the estimated tax payment screens.
Please follow the steps below:
- Open your tax return.
- Search for estimated tax payments with the magnifying glass tool on the top of the page.
- Click on the Jump to estimated tax payments link at the top of the search results.
- Scroll down to the section titled 2019 Refund Applied to 2020.
- Select Start for the State section.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to edit the carryforward from your 2019 return.
