State tax filing

On the coversheet, it says that I both owe $538 and that I don't owe anything at the same time- in error.

However, on the tax return, Turbo Tax filled out 0 for box 80.

Line 61 & 62 (Total New York State, New York City, Yonkers, and sales or use taxes, MCTMT, and
voluntary contributionsIT-201) is filled out as $538 which is correct. It is 0 all through line 80. Line 72 -Total New York State tax withheld is 0- which is true to my situation. Line 76- Total payments- is 0.  Page 4,  80 -Amount you owe (if line 76 is less than line 62, subtract line 76 from line 62) - suddenly has 0 instead of $538. When the barcode is scanned, it will read as me owing $0 without explanation, when it should be $538. I can send the return along with IT-201V and a check, and a letter stating that the actual amount owed is $538 despite the number in box 80 being listed as 0 if that is the best option here (please let me know). Since this return could only be filed through mail, it seemed like I could try to go back and play with the numbers to get the return to put the correct number in box 80- but to no avail. The other option would be to transfer over the data from this Turbo Tax -made return onto fillable pdf forms from the state's website.

"Lastly, you were probably not able to e-file because your New York return had Form IT-2 attached. Form IT-2Summary of Wages, is unsupported by TurboTax."

NY State requires this summary of wages form and it states to use this form instead of submitting federal W-2s. In 2019, I was able to e-file, and Form IT-2 was a part of the return. Unless something changed from Form IT-2 being supported this year, it seems to have been supported last year.
