No one in a user community forum can know since no one can see those 2 returns. You'd have to compare the 2 state returns line by line. When you notice a discrepancy on a particular line, then investigate that topic. It could be something as simple as a typo, transposed digits, decimal in the wrong place, an omission, etc.
You'd also have to compare the 2 Federal returns and be sure the Federal returns were identical, since info from the Federal flows to the state returns.
