State tax filing

If your entry is what you received on Form 1099-G, and you used TurboTax last year, then it is nothing to be concerned about.

 

There is a slightly complicated calculation TurboTax does for you about the portion of the state refund that is taxable. I recommend taking a look at your 2019 taxes, specifically with what was reported for your deductions and also checking your worksheets from your 2020 taxes, which will show the calculation.
