The Arkansas State Tax Agencies and IRS require you to e-file a Federal Income Tax Return at the same time you e-File the Arkansas State Tax Return. This is not an eFile.com policy but an IRS and State Agency policy. Therefore, make sure that you are submitting a Federal Income Tax Return at the same time. Barring anything else that might be preventing you from e-filing with Arkansas State that I am not aware of, you should be fine. Please note that the IRS is not yet accepting returns for e-filing as the start date for this is set for February 12th 2021 for tax year 2020.
