You can delete this input in the federal interview section.
- Select the Personal tab
- Select Deductions & Credits
- Select Start to the right of Home Energy Credits
- The next page will be titled Energy-Saving Home Improvements
- Scroll down to the bottom of this page. Under the question that says Did you make energy-saving improvements in 2019 or have a carryforward from 2018, select NO.
- This should remove the energy credit from your return.
